The Catawba County United Way (CCUW) recently launched a new initiative – Small Businesses Love Big. This is an opportunity for small companies in Catawba County (50 employees or less) to invest $365 a year towards supporting local non-profit programs. For more information call 828-327-6851.

Grant Criteria
- The non-profit agency and its program being funded is focused on helping Catawba Co. residents.
- Program impacts those in need in one or more CCUW impact area: health, education, income.
- Provide proof of 501c3 status.
- Provide impact report after use of funds, including demographics.
- Seeking $2,000 to $5,000 grants.
- Not currently receiving funds through any other CCUW grant cycle for this specific program.
SBLB Grant Timeline
- August – SBLB application OPENS
- September – SBLB applications DUE
- September – applications reviewed by SBLB representatives
- Grants will be announced end of September
