The Catawba County United Way (CCUW) recently launched a new initiative – Small Businesses Love Big. This will be an opportunity for small companies in Catawba County (50 employees or less) to invest back into their communities by supporting local non-profit programs. Grant Criteria
- The non-profit agency and its program being funded is focused on helping Catawba Co. residents.
- Program impacts those in need in one or more CCUW impact area: health, education, income.
- Provide proof of 501c3 status.
- Provide impact report after use of funds, including demographics.
- Seeking $2,000 to $5,000 grants.
- Not currently receiving funds through any other CCUW grant cycle for this specific program.
SBLB Grant Timeline
- Aug. 16 – SBLB application OPENS
- Sept. 6 – SBLB applications DUE
- Sept. 16 – applications reviewed by SBLB representatives
- Grants will be announced end of September
