Small Businesses Love Big

The Catawba County United Way (CCUW) recently launched a new initiative – Small Businesses Love Big. This will be an opportunity for small companies in Catawba County (50 employees or less) to invest back into their communities by supporting local non-profit programs. Grant Criteria

  • The non-profit agency and its program being funded is focused on helping Catawba Co. residents.
  • Program impacts those in need in one or more CCUW impact area: health, education, income.
  • Provide proof of 501c3 status.
  • Provide impact report after use of funds, including demographics.
  • Seeking $2,000 to $5,000 grants.
  • Not currently receiving funds through any other CCUW grant cycle for this specific program. 

SBLB Grant Timeline

  • Aug. 16 – SBLB application OPENS 
  • Sept. 6 – SBLB applications DUE
  • Sept. 16 – applications reviewed by SBLB representatives
  • Grants will be announced end of September
