How can I help my community during the COVID-19 outbreak?
For more than 75 years, donor gifts to the Catawba County United Way have supported community resources that serve struggling families across our county.
Now, the Catawba County United Way is prepared to do even more. It has created an emergency economic relief fund for individuals and families affected by the current COVID-19 outbreak. The fund is donation driven and will be used to service community members in Catawba County.
You can select how you wish to donate to your Catawba County United Way - via PayPal (for credit/debit cards), mail a check for online pledge, or be billed for online pledge.
Complete the PayPal Donation Form to donate via PayPal. Once completed, click on submit and you will be directed to the PayPal website to complete your donation. You can donate via PayPal with or without a PayPal account.

What to Know
- The Catawba County United Way COVID-19 Emergency Response fund will be used to meet the immediate needs of local community-based organizations.
- The CCUW will prioritize frontline programs providing aid to Catawba County residents affected by emerging health, economic, and social impacts caused by the current crisis.
- Funds are limited to 501c3 nonprofit organizations, groups fiscally sponsored by a 501c3 nonprofit organization, or other charitable organizations able to receive a tax-deductible contribution, such as schools, faith-based organizations or other public entities or emergency referrals from any of these organizations.
